In the more than 15 years that we have been in this region, we have been moving around until we found the exact spot, the best location. This came about six years ago, when we obtained permission to locate ourselves in the southeast corner of the reserve, the most unknown, the wildest, the most genuine, close to the Tanzanian border.
We can tell you that with Enkewa you will stay in the most unknown region of the Masai Mara, only suitable for 4×4 vehicles and where there is hardly any traffic. Nature at its best.

Our camp is situated in an oasis in the middle of the Serengeti, in the meander of a river, surrounded by trees and overlooking Kuka Mountain. In addition, there are also tremendous landscapes close by, such as the Sand River, forests with endemic tree species (a unique vegetation in the Masai Mara) or the access to Black Rock, with its low acacia forests on the border with the Serengeti.
At Enkewa Camp you will not only be in constant contact with nature, but also with wildlife. We are in the area with the highest density of the big five in the entire ecosystem: lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo and rhinos.
